Energy Recovery Facilities Careers

We need energy every day. It’s a vital resource that enables us to live our lives in the way that we do.

Our Energy Recovery Facilities (ERF’s) across the UK work to burn waste materials that would have otherwise gone to landfill. Waste is burned in a specially designed furnace and produces high temperature steam, which is used to drive a turbine to generate electricity. It’s a sustainable and environmentally friendly way to manage waste and reduce dependence on fossil fuels, and last year, our facilities produced 2,350GWh electricity – that’s enough to power the equivalent of 640,000 homes.

Every site is supported by our skilled teams. From Weighbridge Operators to LGV Drivers, Operatives to Team Leaders and Apprentices to Engineers - each person has a vital role in ensuring the ERF runs effectively.

We‘re always on the look out for talented people to join us. If you can’t see the right role for you below, join our talent community and we’ll let you know when we have new opportunities.
