We have an opportunity in Bargeddie for a Cleaning Team Leader to join our team, working 40 hours per week, Monday to Thursday nights.

 

The salary for this role will be £39,328 per year, inclusive of shift allowance and participation in an annual bonus scheme, in addition to our great range of benefits.

We are looking for a reliable and safety-conscious Cleaning Team Leader to lead our night shift cleaning team. You'll coordinate cleaning and PPM tasks, manage team resources, and ensure safety and compliance across operations.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and support a team of industrial cleaners on night shift.
  • Ensure cleaning and maintenance tasks are completed safely and on time.
  • Conduct daily checks and manage shift resources.
  • Oversee First Aid, Fire Marshal and Pest Control duties.
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with site safety procedures.
  • Carry out recycling and housekeeping tasks as required.
  • Handle team performance and attendance.
  • Provide cover at other sites when needed.

 

About You

Essential:

  • Experience in a team leader/supervisory role.
  • Familiar with health & safety and compliance procedures (e.g. LOTOTO, SCADA).
  • IOSH certification and UK driving licence.
  • Strong communication and organisational skills.

Desirable:

  • Background in recycling or waste operations.
  • Intermediate IT skills or MEWP licence.
