Viridor is at the forefront of waste management and resource recovery in the UK, operating the largest network of Energy Recovery Facilities (ERFs). We play a crucial role in supporting the UK's climate goals by diverting waste from landfills and transforming it into valuable energy resources.
We have an opportunity in Bargeddie for a Multiskilled Operative to join our team working an average of 38.5 hours per week, Monday to Sunday a 4 on 4 off shift pattern.
The salary for this role will be £28,548 per year, inclusive of shift allowance and participation in an annual bonus scheme, in addition to our great range of benefits.

As a Recycling Operative, you will undertake general recycling duties on site, including safely sorting and separating waste types into various streams, through the operation of fixed and mobile plant.
You will also assist with minor maintenance under the direction of the maintenance team and conduct thorough inspections of fixed plant, complete daily checks and report any defects.
What are we looking for?
· Experience in a production or recycling environment
· The ability to undertake structured work with consistent attention to detail.
· Previous experience of using mobile plant (front end loader, 360 grab)
· An awareness of Health & Safety in the workplace
· Full UK recognised mobile plant licences as required.
